EVA foam can be more resilient than EPE, with the former’s tensile strength exceeding that of the latter by as much as several orders of magnitude. Compressive strength and elongation follow suit. EVA foam’s greater recovery characteristics make it an excellent and cost-effective substitute for rubber in some applications, such as shoe soles and trampoline pads. In spite of EPE’s comparatively low elasticity, however, it remains flexible enough for wrapping about shock-sensitive products, making it an efficient packaging material.
One of EVA foam’s biggest advantages over EPE is its durability. Average EVA foam density and tear strength values stand at five or more times that of an ordinary EPE foam. Because of their closed-cell structure, both have exceptional cushioning and shock proofing capabilities, but EVA foams last much longer. This naturally translates to a higher price, which makes EPE a better choice in cases where cost takes precedence over product lifetime.

Due to extrusion mould and die head are under heatting too and it is still on fluid status after plasticizing and melting in the inner side of barrel on the single screw extruder, mixed LDPE resin material can be come out from die head easy as people required shap,diameter and thickness.

Haul-off unit machine/ belt traction machine is main used for clamping and pulling the EPE foam net forward a long length at a constant speed through belt which located on each pedrail.
It consits of driving motor, pedrail/ pulling belt, air cylinder, rubber pad. Pedrails/pulling belts are located under the extrusion axis, which are mechanically adjustable and upper ones are driven by pneumaticlly.

Working principle is that there are clamps which controlled by air cylinder for clamping EPE foam net first, then blades which on one movable plate start to cutting EPE foam net, meanwhile movable plate be start to moving forward along the guide rail and keep the same speed with extrusion line speed , because plastic EPE foam net is continuous extruding and not stopping.
